Safety and privacy
Designed around the fact that many of these users are children
Youth safety and data minimization shape the architecture, not a policy page added at the end. Governance is aligned to NIST CSF 2.0 concepts, and the platform is built for FERPA and COPPA review with organization specific configuration.
Connecting Students to Opportunities.

Access, isolation and accountability
Every record belongs to one organization. No school, program or employer can browse another organization's students.
Ten role types with scoped permissions. Staff see their cohorts, employers see grants, recruiters see authorized fields.
Administrative and organization roles are structured for multi factor enrollment.
Searches, profile views, verification changes, moderation decisions and denials are all recorded.
Student media lives in private storage with signed, expiring links, audience controls and moderation.
Students and guardians can request an export or deletion and track the request through completion.
Data we do not collect
StudentRecruit does not collect any of the following, at all.
- No social security numbers
- No banking or payment account information
- No medical or disability information
- No unnecessary sensitive personal data on credential records
- No public exposure of a minor by default anywhere in the product
- No unmonitored adult to minor messaging
The Safety Center is a guidance surface, not an emergency service
StudentRecruit is not 911 and does not route emergency communications through its servers.
- Clear guidance to call emergency services directly from the device
- Text to 911 guidance only where the local jurisdiction supports it
- A trusted adult and the school or program safety contact configured by the organization
- Report bullying, threats or inappropriate mentor interaction into a safeguarding workflow
- Configurable vetted crisis and help resources per organization
- Any future direct public safety integration would be a separate verified agency integration
Read the actual policies
The same youth-policy baseline used across our youth products, adapted to StudentRecruit and written in plain language. Structured so district, center, college or employer counsel can run a FERPA and COPPA review. No compliance certification is claimed.
