Missouri Pathway Labz™

Nine Missouri career categories students can actually try.

Missouri Pathway Labz™ organizes exploration around the fields Missouri's economy depends on. Students explore the fields their region is investing in through short tryouts and longer simulated entry-level work.

These are educational career experiences, not employment or guaranteed placement. No company sponsors a category.

The nine categories

What each Missouri pathway covers

Healthcare
Patient-facing and behind-the-scenes clinical support work, from the front desk to the sterile processing room.
Aerospace
Building, inspecting and designing flight hardware to a standard where a millimetre matters.
Advanced Manufacturing
Keeping automated production lines running, measuring what they make and stopping them when quality slips.
Geospatial
Turning imagery, sensors and coordinates into maps and analysis other people can act on.
Energy
Generating, moving and restoring the power and gas that everything else depends on.
Bioscience
Laboratory and biomanufacturing work where the record of what you did matters as much as the work.
AgTech
Technology in the field: sensors, drones, data and the agronomy decisions they support.
Logistics
Moving freight and inventory on time, and fixing it fast when the plan breaks.
Financial Services
Protecting money and records: reviewing, documenting and escalating what does not look right.

The student path

Exploration that gets specific

  • Nine categories drawn from the fields Missouri's economy depends on.
  • Short career tryouts for a first look, and longer simulated entry-level work for a serious one.
  • Age-appropriate content for grades 6 to 12, chosen by the student's own school or program.
  • What students accomplish stays with them for applications and conversations ahead.

For schools and partners

Value for schools and community partners

Counselors and CTE staff

Point a class or advisory group at a category and see finished work instead of a self-reported interest survey.

Regional and workforce partners

Exploration lines up with the fields a region is investing in, without putting a single employer inside student learning.

Reporting you can share

Engagement and growth for your own students, with very small groups hidden. Employers see nothing unless a student shares it.
